About Dangerous Marketing

Dangerous Marketing is a group of associates (each of whom run their own company specialising in different aspects of marketing), who form a nucleus of knowledge and practical expertise to generate high growth in smaller businesses. We share a desire to challenge existing conventions and perceptions of marketing to enable our clients punch above their weight against larger competitors.

Based in Devon, we typically work with Micro (up to 4 employees) and Small (up to 9 employees) businesses in the south west of England to enable them to achieve high growth that is sustainable and profitable. We provide:

  • short-term fixed fee services – either as a taster for new clients or to focus on a specific marketing activity
  • longer-term contracts (minimum of 12 months) supplying marketing specialists to work as a hands-on resource within the business as Interim Marketing Managers, using their vast experience and knowledge to accelerate the operational sales and marketing activities.
  • sales and marketing workshops, seminars and mentoring for business owners to hone existing skills and discover new talent.

We also work in partnership with Pragmatic Performance Management to deliver senior/ executive level personal development (such as mentoring, coaching, workshops, psychometric testing) to SME Owners and Directors to enhance leadership skills and business strategy.

Led by Marketing Communications and Social Media specialist Sue Windley, Dangerous Marketing targets the three key aspects of business development strategy to achieve profitable and sustainable results: aligning Marketing and Social Media Strategies with the Business Strategy to provide direction and relevant means to measure achievement (effective and meaningful marketing metrics).

Starting from this strategic level, a single point of contact works on the client’s behalf to select the best combination of subject specialists to deliver all the operational elements of the marketing (both on- and off-line) to dramatically increase the rate of growth using existing resources. Our aim will always be to ensure clients can become self-sustaining in their business development to minimise the need for future external intervention.
